Financial Planner | Strategy & Investments
Representative of Hood Sweeney Securities AFS Licence No. 220897
Isaac Kalleske has advised clients at Hood Sweeney Securities Pty. Ltd, for five years.
He joined Hood Sweeney as a Financial Planning Administrator while in his final year at university, and like many of our Advisers, worked his way through administration and technical roles to cement his knowledge before putting it into practice serving clients as a Financial Planner.
Isaac became a Financial Planner because he enjoys connecting with people from different backgrounds and industries – specifically hearing their stories and experiences. Understanding a client’s goals and objectives (financial or non-financial) and assisting them with a plan to help them achieve those goals and objectives brings him a great sense of joy and satisfaction.
Isaac works closely with Hood Sweeney’s specialist team in the Health sector, serving medical and dental practitioners. As part of his involvement in the Health team, he also conducts financial education seminars for medical and dental organisations.
Many of Isaac’s clients are accumulators, those in the first half of their financial journey. The focus with these clients is often debt reduction and protection of wealth, so Isaac works closely with our Risk Insurance Team.
“With a lot of my clients, we are working towards understanding their cash flow, particularly what their surplus is and identifying where best to direct it.”
Helping clients stay accountable is where Isaac believes he adds value.
“I often say to my clients, I can put a plan in place and advise you what to do and why, but if you don’t take action, nothing is going to happen. In my personal life I got myself a running coach to help me reach my running goals: my role for my clients is being their financial coach."
Isaac enjoys time with his wife and young daughter outside of work, and is big on endurance sports and ultramarathons.
