Reducing the reliance on you!
Why is team development so important for your business?
The collective thinking and behaviour of your team is your culture. Your culture is the single biggest enabler or disabler of your strategy, so it makes sense to invest in it. The key is to fast-track the growth of the team while keeping tabs on the latest best practices.
The great thing about coaching is that it brings a ‘process’ as much as it brings content. Any content is typically a model or structure in support of change that the participants then marry their situation against to see how that would look and work for them. What this means for the participants is that the coaching is always relevant and immediately applicable, whether it’s leadership development, a difficult conversation, team dynamics or even a strategic opportunity.
Coaching: Shift your thinking and the action that follows.
How do we develop your team?
Our performance coaching team will ask the tough questions, help your leaders see the situation differently and help your business to uncover the real problems while also developing a plan of action.
At Hood Sweeney, we find the inclusive and collaborative nature of coaching is very disarming for the participants.
An overview of the team development our experienced Performance Coaches offer includes:
1:1 Senior Executive - coaching & mentoring
1:1 Manager - coaching & mentoring
1:2 or 1:3 Manager coaching & mentoring
Advanced management skill development facilitation of discussions around concurrent challenges to assist in everyday management. These challenges can be very broad and include discussions such as decision-making, prioritising, tough conversations and goal-clarity & alignment in the Senior Executive Leadership Team.
Behavioural profiles of your team can help communication and build unity by helping leaders of your business understand the people they lead. Our expert coaches suggest behavioural profiling for your business that shows behavioural types of all executives and managers alike. Once the report is completed we can collate the data with some summary insights neatly consolidated into a one-page tool. Delivery of a workshop helps participants understand how to communicate better in the team based upon behavioural types. This leads to better communication, better team understanding and helps build efficient and effective meetings by using the language that resonates to those involved. In the event of your business needing to go deeper into organisational psychology, we have access to qualified experts.
Customised Programs are able to be designed, developed & delivered for all levels of management and staff. The purpose is to deliver something that will develop your team and address the gaps that exist in the current team. Our programs range from small daily sessions to half and full-day workshops. At Hood Sweeney, we believe in four cornerstones of business success, namely: clear planning, strong leadership, consistently high productivity and influential relationships. Hood Sweeney: A most comprehensive business coaching offering
While being somewhat sceptical of “workshops” facilitated by outside coordinators I was totally blown away by how professionally run and engaging the workshop was, thanks to Simon’s careful management of the event. The workshop kept to time; each stage in the proceedings were carefully summarised and all participants where encouraged to contribute. At the same time while encouraging critical thought and discussion, Simon deftly kept the discourse “on topic”. Most impressively, the workshop concluded with a sound package of action plans and a blue print for the way forward with our research in an easily digestible format. Candidly Simon encouraged attendees to summarise in their own words what they thought they got out of the proceedings and encouraged constructive criticism at all levels. The feedback was unanimously positive and Simon’s purported notion of possibility leadership was in fact very real and obvious.
