Recovery Program Offers Businesses Post Covid-19 Support

As Covid-19 is brought under control and South Australian businesses slowly begin to reopen, the overwhelming realisation is that the environment has significantly changed for everyone.

The new normal, as it’s coined, means businesses must reassess their practices and preparedness in order to survive and recover from the financial and emotional impacts of the global pandemic. But recovery and regrowth will require work far beyond the initial steps of updating cash flow and profit and loss forecasts and budgets.

“Ongoing planning will be vital to business survival. The business owners who are able to identify, adapt and take advantage of opportunities now as they emerge from hibernation will come out of this challenging period the strongest,” said Louisa Andreucci, an Associate and Representative of Hood Sweeney Accounting & Business Advisory+.

Hood Sweeney Accounting & Business Advisory has developed a new, online Business Recovery Program to assist and support businesses to build their own recovery plans post Covid-19 in three guided steps, involving:

  • A free Risk and Value Driver Assessment
  • An online Business Recovery Program workshop
  • Ongoing support to implement recovery and regrowth actions.

“Our Accounting & Business Advisory team will work with business owners to create a recovery and regrowth plan based on analysing and adjusting key risk and value drivers in the business,” said Louisa Andreucci.

The recovery program begins with a free Risk and Value Driver Assessment (RAVDA) to identify key non-financial internal and external risks in your business. The RAVDA information is combined with data analytics to pinpoint areas of high concern, and value drivers that need to be addressed to protect your business.

The second step involves registering for an online planning workshop, facilitated by one of our business advisory specialists, to prepare your own Business Recovery Plan Report.

At the end of the workshop, business owners will be provided with a report that includes SME sector benchmarks and research statistics, a SWOT analysis of the business, along with goals, strategies and action items with implementation timelines.

Once you have the roadmap, the final step is ongoing guidance and support to help you implement your recovery and re-growth actions. Hood Sweeney can tailor a support package to suit your individual needs.

Now, this is where the journey to business recovery and regrowth begins.
