Prior to attaining his professional credential’s Scott actively participated in the running of his family’s livestock farming operation in the Adelaide Hills.

Having served regional communities for the vast majority of his time at Hood Sweeney, Scott intimately understands the extremes of fluctuating seasonal challenges that constantly confront regional businesses and farm related enterprises.

As the agribusiness relationship partner, Scott oversees the firms delivery of professional services to regional and farm-related business in the Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula and Mid North of South Australia.

Nicholas Edwards is an associate in the accounting and business advisory services division of Hood Sweeney.

With over fifteen years experience as a chartered accountant and lawyer, Nicholas has advised medical professionals, high net worth individuals, ASX listed and private corporate groups, real estate investment trusts and small to medium sized enterprises. 

Before joining Hood Sweeney, Nicholas was a director of a public company specialising in litigation funding and Chief Financial Officer of a privately held property company with over $1 billion of commercial property assets. Prior to this, Nicholas worked as a taxation and investment adviser to ultra high net worth private clients of both PricewaterhouseCoopers and ANZ Private Bank.

Nicholas delivers specialist tax advice and tailored recommendations to medical professionals and high net-worth individuals. He delivers technical tax training and develops systems to provide a framework for the provision of quality professional advice.
